　　1、独特的结构：灯谜一般由三部分组成，即谜面、谜目和谜底，也称灯谜三要素。

　　2、面与底别解：灯谜利用汉语字词多意的特点，不把谜面作原意解释，从而得出别样的意思，所谓谜贵别解，别解方成谜。

　　3、面与底异字：在灯谜中凡是谜面上有的字，在谜底中不能再出现，否则称为露春，灯谜是不允许露春的。
