　　Daxing District is located in the south of Beijing, with Tongzhou District in the east, Guan County and Bazhou City in Hebei Province in the south, Fangshan District in the west across the Yongding River, and Fengtai and Chaoyang Districts in the north. The whole territory belongs to the Yongding River alluvial plain. The terrain slopes gently from west to southeast. Most of the areas are between 14 and 52 meters above sea level.
