　　爱沙尼亚是前苏联的。1939年8月23日，苏、德签署互不侵犯条约。根据这一秘密附件，苏联于9月25日与爱沙尼亚开始谈判，9月28日与其签订条约，取得了在战争期间占领爱某些港口和军事设施、并在有关地区驻军的权利。1940年6月后，苏联出兵占领了爱沙尼亚全境，同年7月成立爱沙尼亚苏维埃社会主义共和国。8月1日，经过公民投票被并入苏联，成为苏联加盟共和国之一。爱沙尼亚共和国，简称爱沙尼亚，与南方的拉脱维亚和立陶宛并称为波罗的海三国。爱沙尼亚位于波罗的海东岸，芬兰湾南岸，西南濒临里加湾，南面和东面分别同拉脱维亚和俄罗斯接壤。国土总面积45339平方公里，主体民族为爱沙尼亚族，首都塔林。

According to this secret annex, the Soviet Union started negotiations with Estonia on September 25, and signed a treaty with it on September 28, obtaining the right to occupy certain ports and military installations in Estonia during the war, and to station troops in the relevant areas. After June 1940, the Soviet Union occupied the entire territory of Estonia and established the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic in July of the same year. On August 1, it was incorporated into the Soviet Union after a "referendum" and became one of the Soviet republics. The Republic of Estonia, referred to as Estonia for short, is also known as the three Baltic countries along with Latvia and Lithuania in the south. Estonia is located on the east coast of the Baltic Sea, on the south coast of the Gulf of Finland, bordering the Gulf of Riga to the southwest, and bordering Latvia and Russia to the south and east respectively.
